Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you shop with us.

These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy from us online. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Last updated: [TO CONFIRM: date].

1. About us

This website is operated by [TO CONFIRM: legal business name, company number (if a limited company), registered address and VAT number (if VAT registered)]. You can contact us using the details on our Contact Us page.

2. Our products

  • We take care to describe and show products accurately, but packaging and recipes are changed by manufacturers from time to time and the product you receive may look slightly different from the picture.
  • Always read the label on the product itself — including ingredients, allergen and storage information — before consuming it, and do not rely only on the information on this website.
  • All products are offered subject to availability.
  • [TO CONFIRM: if any age-restricted products are sold (e.g. alcohol), add the age-verification wording here; otherwise delete this line.]

3. Ordering

  • When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
  • The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order or tell you it is ready to collect.
  • If we cannot supply an item — for example because it is out of stock or there was a pricing error — we will let you know and refund anything you have paid for that item.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling (£) [TO CONFIRM: “and include VAT where applicable” — or state that the business is not VAT registered].
  • Delivery charges are shown at the checkout before you pay.
  • Prices and offers can change, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
  • Payment is taken in full when you place your order, through our secure payment provider.

5. Delivery and collection

Delivery areas, charges and timescales, and how Click & Collect works, are set out on our Delivery Information page. Delivery times are estimates. The goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us or collected by you.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel an order or return goods, and how we deal with faulty or incorrect items, are explained in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. Please note that the legal 14-day right to cancel does not apply to perishable goods.

7. Your legal rights

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer law. Advice about your legal rights is available from Citizens Advice.

8. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. We supply products for domestic and private use only.

9. Using this website

  • You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for the accuracy of the details you give us.
  • You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for anything unlawful.
  • The content of this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our suppliers and may not be copied without permission.

10. Privacy

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on the website when you place it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
